History-
"Everyone had to have a beginning somewhere. I can recall my own easily."

Born into the wilds of Kanto, the small egg of the Eevee was guarded and loved by a more than willing Jolteon mother. She was older than most would be at the age for having their first child, but many circumstances as well as events in the Jolteon's past led to having the child later. As the second of her offspring, the mother knew how to care for the little Eevee whom came from the delicate egg. Wide, brown eyes stared up at her mother as the ball of fluff emerged into the willing world. Within months, the young Eevee was already ajusting well to life in the forests of Kanto. She made friends easily, giggling constantly and brightening everyone's day. Deemed Ciana, the Eevee grew up fast alongside her mother and had many friends her age. She learned the common species of Pokemon around her home, excelling with the studies and lessons her mother taught her. At age eight, however, Ciana and her mother, Denise, moved their home to another location. The Jolteon ended up falling into a relationship then, with a sneaky Weavile whom also had a young son Ciana's age.

The son had various mental problems from multiple traumatic scenes in his past, but that did not excuse his behavior with the loving Eevee. For over two years, Ciana was pelted with constant verbal abuse as well as nearly weekly beatings from the larger Sneasel. Denise did her best to protect her daughter, but as the relationship soured, she was unable to be there for her offspring more and more. This had a profound effect on Ciana, making the then ten year old lose much confidence in herself. She hardened, no longer being as open and friendly, and became physically stronger instead. She eventually learned how to fight back with the Sneasel when he retaliated. But she was still unable to keep up- everything she heald dear was either quickly destroyed by him with no punishment or he insulted her behind her back to those she thought she could trust. Shutting down and becoming depressed at only age ten, Ciana only had the comfort of her friends at that point. Eeryday she would flee that hell hole to be with them. They kept the bruised child happy during the daylight hours as home life became worse and worse, until she met a newcomer to the community of wild Pokemon. A shy Electrike by the name of Joshua.

"Little did I know, my life would change forever. Becoming a spiral to a hell that I would live in for years to come."

He easily joined the group of friends that Ciana had, but was too shy and nervous among so many girls to say much at all. The friendly Eevee eagerly befriended him, becoming close friends as her home life simply became a daily battle. Physical abuse was worsening, but she promised herself it was really nothing. The verbal abuse grew, though, and the Sneasel was more and more bold with his mind games and plain cruelty with each day. Dwelling farther and farther within her mind, Ciana opened up only to Joshua, him becoming her very best friend. For months and months, the two became closer and closer until one day Ciana realized that she felt more for him. The young Eevee struggled with new of her very first crush for weeks, nearly letting their friendship suffer because of it. But when it came time for Joshua to migrate with his family to where his family would live for the remainder of the year, she crumpled. Admiting her feelings, the Electrike declared his own youn love to her in the same fashion. And then he was gone.

"They say you never really forget your first love. What they never mention is how you never forget your first heart break, either."

For the next months, life only worsened. To start it off, many of the damaged Eevee's friends left her. Most simply moved on, forgetting their friendship, and leaving her to deal with the abuse of homelife all on her own again. Shutting down, that was where the root of hiding her emotions came from. Not able to show any weakness before that horrid Sneasel, Ciana quickly became an expert in not only hiding the pain but any joys as well. By the time her mother Denise ended the relationship and cut it off, her daughter was already changed forever. Unable to even remember how to smile properly, the Eevee struggled then with depression. Suisidal thoughts ran through her head often and she resorted to harming herself under her mother's nose. She was only twelve. Scarring her forlegs as her personality only became darker and darker, life seemed very dim for the young fox. Her mother worried for her, but the Jolteon never knew the true extent and was unable to help. For another year, things were stable, despite bein miserable, but that was when their luck ran short. Then at the age of thirteen, Ciana was still only really child as they took up residense in the route near Fuschia City. But the trainers were strong.

And the Eevee's life chaned the moment the Pokeball closed around her.

A pitifully low level and scared out of her witts, Ciana was no trouble at all for the poucher. Screaming for her mother, the Jolteon was too late. The next week was a blur, the mortified child alone for the first time in her life as she was moved from kennel to cage and shoved from one human to the next with little food and water. She ended up being sold to a spoiled rich girl whom lived in a place on an entirely different region: Fortree City in Hoenn. Snatched right out of the wilds and thrust into the pure spoiled lap of luxeries; saying Ciana had trouble adjusting would be an understatement. A massive four story home, huge plush beds for Ciana alone, servents to do whatever she asked, no competition for food or water, no worry about hot or cold, no preditors to worry about, and she was completely miserable. Ciana had no mother anymore. She had no time to herself to explore. There was no one for her to befriend in the exclusively human home. Not to mention no way to search for Joshua. Ciana's life only improved when she evolved.

"Mama always said that evolving was a wonderful experiance, how feeling the raw power of nature overcome you and make you grow years within a few seconds was one of the joys in life."

The girl that Ciana had been 'given' to was not an intelligent child. Only at the age of fifthteen, she was a complete idiot. A ditz, to say the least, whom thought the only joys in life revolved around outer beauty and boys. So when presented with the option of evolving her Eevee, whome she had barel had for three days at the time, she immediately greedily plucked a stone from the group. Smashing the golden crystal against Ciana's head, the Eevee had no say in the matter as she immediately began to glow. In her place stood a shorter than average Jolteon, her anatomy odd in several ways and discolorations and markings dotting her body. The girl then screamed with delight. "I will name you Sparkle!!" The newly evolved Jolteon just stared at her. Sparkle. "My own mother gave  me a name, thank you very fucking much," was on the tip of the Eeveelution's tounge. Ciana was grateful to have finally evolved, and into the same species as her mother no less, but made a pact with herself to never aknowledge the name Sparkle. No. Just fucking... no. But despite now having the body of an adult, Ciana was still only a child with a low level at that. She was not allowed to battle at all under strict watch beneath her idiot of a trainer. But she did have the money to purchase two useful TMs and use them on her beloved 'Sparkle.'

Ciana merely shot daggers with her brown eyes.

The next few years were suprisingly bearable for the Jolteon. She was allowed into the massive backyard and used physical activity to curb her conatsnt lonliness and boredom. Used for the very occasional battle by the hypocritical idiot, Ciana remained at a level not above average for her age. She learned to deal with the human she was cursed with, but the Jolteon never took advantage of the spoiled life style she was offered. Never using the maids or the redicilously massive beds, she prefered to be outdoors as much as she could. The best part was if a wild Pokemon ever approached the glass to interact with her or if a flying type wen over the fence to actually socialize with her. Being so alone constantly, Ciana was always overjoyed with the bold wild Pokemon of Fortree visitin her on those rare occasions. The backyard of the mansion was huge alright, going right up to the famously tall grass growing that concealed rare and powerful Pokemon. The wall went from the house in a semicircle before meeting up again with the building, effectively keeping Ciana locked within as it was easily thirty meters high. Much too tall for her to jump. But the catch was that the wall itself was made up of a very unique material, harder than stone but yet completely see through. Like a fish in a bowl, Ciana could easily see the wildlife thriving outside of her dome, but was unable to comunicate in any way besides expression since voices dont carry that high without strain.

"It was a lonley life indeed... but I will never forget the very first day I saw him."

Ciana had been caught doing something not allowed one day and was shoved outside as punishment. Snorting with irritation, the Jolteon ignored the stupidity of the humans and trotted to the back wall. It was a misty, thick morning; condensation was a film over the entire 'glass' wall, making anything have difficult seeing from one side to the other. But when there was a flash of dull and dark color, Ciana froze. The creature she found staring back at her was completely foreign, something only from the new region she had been held in for years. Sparkling eyes shone back at the Jolteon, only a mild curiosity within them, but all Ciana felt was true terror. With the wicked weapon shining menecingly from it's head, she found it more like a demon than a Pokemon. While the serene, almost sarrowful, gaze of the feline like creature regaurded her, Ciana was blind with terror. Crying out, she spun on her heels and fled back towards the house. A human had heard the Eeveelution's cry and come to see the commotion, only to find her rushing through the door and nearly knocking the woman off her feet. Furious, the human immediately snatched the Jolteon's collar, throwing her violently back outside before angerly slamming the door shut. Ciana, still scared, barely dared to glance back at the back wall. But her fear was not justified, as the alein creature was gone.

Ciana was uncertain around the wall for days after that, her ears always perked and eyes alert, even if she could not hear him coming. Ciana had decided he was a he; it just made sense in her head. But she was still unprepared for the day when he did indeed show up again. Of course, Ciana knew rationally that he could not possibly harm her and was thankful for the wall for the first time in her life, but it still took an effort not to flee when his pointy nose poked through the grass and his eyes net her's. Body stiff and eyes still full of fear, the intimidating shaggy feline came out of the wilds slowly. With massive paws and frighteningly huge claws to match, the Jolteon did not break eye contact as he came closer to the wall. It was then that his mouth moved, nose and whiskers twitching and flowing as he spoke slowly, but the Jolteon flinched then. Eyes apologetic, she shook her head. Replying to him herself, she made it clear that they would not hear eachother. His suprise was evident, but then he made a curt nod. Instead, Ciana made motions of playing a game she knew from her childhood in the wild. The Pokemon was unsure at first, but soon began to play along with her, both of them oviously laughing with joy by the time the sun set. Called back into the house, Ciana was forced to leave her new friend. Tossing him a wide grin, the Jolteon sprinted back into the massive home, leaving him out in the cold.

"Things were a blur then; we grew very close, very fast. My first real friend in years."

Over the course of months, Ciana bonded with the foreign Pokemon that soon came to visit he nearly every day. His eyes were notibibly brighter, stature oviously stronger, as time went on. The Jolteon could tell he was happier and it meant the world to her. In a spur of luck, she was also able to discover his species during a television show her trainer's mother was watching. An Absol. The word felt strange on her tounge, but at least she knew it then. Unable to learn his name due to the hinderance of the wall, Ciana began to refer to him simply as Absol. Absol. The two spent so much time together, they even managed to discover clever ways of comunicating. With constant condensation and muddy soil, the two felines were able to make marks using their paws and mud. With this, they came upon their own, very simple language. Despite only being able to convay simple things like 'I have to go now' or 'Want to play Glass Tag?', it still meant the world to the duo. Soon they could do nothing but simply lay by the wall, their fur pressed against eachother with the eight inches in between them, and be content. Simply overjoyed with the first friendship she had in years, Ciana was blind to the true nature of Absol's behavior.

Of course it is difficult to convey feelings of love when you cannot speak. With the times when Ciana and Absol were unable to hang out during the day, he would ask her to spend the night with him instead. Curled up against the glass, right next to eachother, the Eeveelution was still blind to the way his expression appeared pained when she had to leave. But eveything changed when Ciana came out especially early to find that there was a small bird Pokemon sitting by the wall, appearing to have been awaiting her arrival all night. Ciana cautiously approached him, never dealt with anything like that before. But what the bird then told her, left the Jolteon stunned and speechless, long after he flew away. He had been a mere messanger, from Absol.

He loved her.

Everything he had done suddenly flashed behind her eyes, crushing the Jolteon's resolve from within. Love? How could he possibly [ove her when they had not even spoken a word to eachother? How could he, when she was just a boring old Jolteon and he was such an exotic Absol? So many things swirled around her head, but one thing was certain: she did not return the feelings and needed to make that clear. When he came by hours later, there was a certain coyness to him. Ciana immediately went into the rough conversation with him, using the marks for 'bird' and 'no'[ with sad shakes of her head. Absol was suprisingly reserved, no emotion showing from his face. But he did still stay with her throughout the day, but left without even saying 'goodbye'. Ciana knew she had hurt him, but could not change anything. As days went on, he no longer asked her to stay the night with him under the stars. Things were different, but their friendship was still strong. But after another week, Ciana knew she had made a horrible mistake. Because she loved him too. Once getting over the apologeticness, Ciana confessed how she felt and he was completely estatic. Their love grew, despite only being able to communicate through the glass, and they slept together everynight. Paws pressed together with the glass in between. They came up with multiple plans to bypass the wall for weeks, each one crazier than the last, but none would work. Absol had mentioned being captured by a human that frequented Ciana's trainer's house, but the Jolteon expressed an adament no. She would never allow him to sacrifice that way.

"But he did. And he did it all for me."

It had been well over two months since their confession when Ciana came out to meet up with Absol, joyful with her tail happily in the air. But he was nowhere to be found. Confused, the Jolteon waited all day, but he never came. Worried something might have happened, she still slept beneath the stars and next to the wall, her paw pressed against the glass like it always was. It was four days before she saw him again. The most recent love intrest of her trainer's showed up at the house, bragging about his newest prize. Luckily Ciana was in the same room when he opened the Pokeball. An achingly familiar shape formed just on the other side of the room. Ciana watched as Absol emered from the Pokeball of the lowlife ass hole her trainer was currently in love with. The Jolteon was frozen, her entire world standing still as she drank in the sight of him with no wall in between them. It did not take long for the words between their trainers' to become competetive. They then agreed to make his new Absol and her Jolteon fight it out to prove who was better. The pain and pure shock on both of the Pokemons' faces would have been evident to anyone with eyes.

Both trainers puched their Pokemon forward, despite their ovious reluctance. Ciana was no fool- she knew Absol was a much higher level than herself. If they really did fight, she would come out on the bad end of the stick. But his desperate glance at her was all she needed to see- he would not harm her. Releif flooding her body, the Jolteon captured his eye. With a sad smile, Ciana nodded. Absol understood immediately, his expression becoming so pained while his eyes held the horror of a breaking heart. In a fluid movement, he reared on his forpaws and kicked the chest of his 'trainer' with powerful back legs. Thrown against a wall with the impact, Ciana's own trainer began screaming for her current intrest to be okay. Absol wasted no time, he spun on his heels and sped towards the door and passing Ciana on the way. The Jolteon was frozen, being to painfully close to him for the first time only to have him be gone within seconds. Surely even the damned humans could see where her chest had cracked open, her insides staining the floor? But of course they did not.

"Fate can be a cruel bitch."

Ciana's trainer and Absol's former trainer were not harmed at all, him only having a soar chest for a few days but not even a bruise, but they still contacted the authoraties immediately. The uniformed man studided the Jolteon with a narrowed gaze as he got infomation from the two teens about the Absol. Ciana openly glared back, putting all of her pain and frustrations into that look for the very symbol of human oppresion itself. The Jolteon did go out into the backyeard the next mornig, though. She knew Absol would not be there; the humans were threatening to gun him down if he showed 'agression towards the human population again.' She merely gritted her teeth. Bull shit. Pure bull shit. What she was not expectig to find was yet another bird, restin just within her cage and right next to the dome. He merely said that he was another messanger, and that Absol would return. He only asked Ciana to wait for him. She sent the bird off, but was filled with mixed emotions. Their last plan had failed so miserably but she knew this was still worth waiting for. It had taken seven years to finally realize Joshua was neer returning. But Absol would. He would be back.

The next months went from depressing to bearable; while Ciana was loney once again, at least she had something to look forward to. Hitting her eighteenth year, the Jolteon missed her mother bitterly. The wise old Jolteon would know what to do. But it was not weeks later than the news bagan flashing with urgent red lights and near frantic announcers. The Epidemic had come. Ciana's trainer was hardly sentimental. Depite her 'pet Sparkle' being nothing but a peice of furniture for years and having no experiance in the wild since she was a child, the human promply shover her outside and slammed the door. Ciana could not help but see the irony of if that had only hallened two months earlier. The Jolteon was a foreigner in the Hoenn region, quickly sticking withthe migrating group of wild Pokemon. They soon showed their signs of infection and Ciana was one of the few that managed to flee.

"But I had a will to survive and I damn sure was not ignoring it."

Ciana barely managed to survive, really. Only her natural ability to run fast as well as her TM taught moves saved her by the skin on her teeth. Life became a constant fight for survival, the undead growing by the day. But months went by, a year, and she was somehow still alive. Malnourished and depressed, but alive. However, an aweinspiring power ran over the land of Hoenn one day, washin over the Eeveelution before she could react. Then she was in a room. One she had never seen before. Looking out a window, she saw nothig but miles and miles and miles of whipping sandstorms. A desert. Just her luck. But the tower she was in held her far above the ground so there was no worry about leaving, anyway. For days she cautiously explored a very small part of the human's buildig, only going as far to find food and water.

It has been a week.

User Note-
- New and improved Pokesona. Not too much to add. B3
- Design based off of my official fursona, shown here. [link]
- Shorter than average by a few inches
- Her father was a magestic Arcanine. Ciana had a very good relationship with her mother. She also has an older brother, a Flareon by the name of Thomas, that was already out and living on his own before she was born.
-The 'language' she and Absol created is really just a series of different marks made on the glass that would have a meaning. They would always be washed off by the people that maintain the yard, so they never ran out of space.
-Due to having such a sheltered childhood despite being wild and locked up in the house her entire teenagehood, Ciana has very, very little to no knowledge of any Pokemon species out there, the only exception being the Kanto Legends that she will pray to. Due to her mother's and her own typing, it is usually Zapdos. Lol
-Very much dislikes humans and will immediately avoid them at any sign of their appearance.
-Ciana actually has incredible hearing and sense of smell, even for a Jolteon. It is hard to sneak up on her, but it does happen.
-She is still effectively searching for Absol, as well as her Mother, but has really given up at this point. Being stuck in a tower in a region she has never even heard of before would do that to ya.
